recipe tea towel

I thought I would snap this pic before I added this to a shower gift. I make so much stuff , then move on to something new that I forget some of old ideas that I enjoyed making. This is my last  tea towel, so I think I need to make some more. I will put it on my list with the other billion things that I need to do.

Mod podge fun

http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/ I made this after seeing one on the Graphic Fairy's  page. I LOVE the Graphics Fairy .  Mod Podge  it is such a relaxing and therapeutic thing to play with. I would like a few more flowers in the cone, but  I need to buy some first. Maybe I will make a few more as gifts for friends. I guess I had better buy lots of flowers.

Tea Cozy

I  used a felted sweater and printed the flag thanks to the Graphics Fairy, added ribbon and tassel and I am now ready for a jolly good tea break.

I found some mac-tac at Michaels and  it inspired me to clean, and organize my  shelves. I love how they look, you can't really see the shelve paper in this photo, but trust me , it is pretty.

I made this little cozy spot in the kitchen for when friends visit, Stop by any time and I will put the kettle on. If tea is not your thing a cappuccino or latte is also on the menu.

Making this screen was a cool process, using sunlight to burn the image onto the screen. IT WORKED!
Now I am hooked, and want to make MORE! and MORE. Must buy more t-shirts. No time for house work , I just want to play all day with this stuff.

I have been so busy, and and have had NO time to Blog. But I am back in the groove and will try to keep things posted. We had a litter of the cutest Bostons, they have come and gone. Spring is on the way, (let's hope), and I have my daughters wedding comming up in July. Lots to do so little time.

the Queens Birthday

I have been so busy crafting, cleaning and cooking that I have had no time to blog. I just had Tea with Queen Victoria, it was in celebration of he birthday. The party was held at Cottonwood Mansion . It was so much fun, we had scones and cucumber sandwiches, cake and lots of fancy treats. ,

Thrift Store Junk

Thrift Store goodies. I wanted to add a little yellow to my kitchen decor, an apron, a plate, and rosebud salt and pepper shakers should do the trick. ( well, maybe I need a few more things, but its a start)
