I have been so busy, gardening time has rolled around, and I have lots of work to do. we have made a large portion of our garden in to vegetable patch, so I am looking forward to getting some plants in soon. The garden centers are popping up at all the local stores which is a sure sign of spring. I am also busy sewing aprons, mostly just for fun, but some for my Etsy store. Oh I have also been busy washing sheets and blankets and hanging them on the line, this pic is from Canadian Home and Country mag. I just love the picture.

I am going to make myself one of these aprons, I think view 1 is my favorite. I don't usually use pattern but , this is so cute , I will make an exception. I have been so busy at Apronista, (just playing around and checking out aprons) I have been neglecting my blog and my house work. I guess that I will have to start getting up earlier.

vintage look

This is a new vintage look apron that I just made. I got the fabric for the pocket out of a junk bag from the thrift store. It had great scraps of 1930 feed sack in it. What a find. Not very big pieces but good for apron pockets, or quilting. I put it in my Etsy store but if it doesn't sell I will be happy to keep it.

I have been so busy at Apronista, making aprons and posting them, I have neglected this post. I will try to update more often.( ps .. must go sew more aprons)

Silver napkin rings

they look great on my little shelf. Not a great pic, but you get the idea.
I was thrifting and came across these napkin rings. There is 4 in the set, price -4.99--- how could I resist, but what could I use them for? So I printed out some old pics, and placed them inside the rings, ....wow, .....they look great. I love when I can make something usefull out of junk. (these are not really junk thought are they? they are silver plated, and would be lovely to use at a tea party.)
