My doll house kitchen, it's a little messy, just like real life. I have been so busy with other things that I have neglected my house a bit. I will find the time someday. We are still waiting for better weather here in Ontario, I hope it gets here soon.

Sorting my buttons into colors and filling jars. It was a fun job. Now that they are sorted, it is much easier to find what I need.

I also make hats and bags, here are some on display in my cousins store. This picture is from last year, and they have since closed the store and have reopened in a new location.

I embroidered these tea towel for my friend that just got married. I also made her some pillows with pictures on them of her and the groom. She loved them. It was a small wedding, just to two of them, very romantic, and such a happy occasion for two, not so young lovers.

I make these ornaments for my sisters, they are pictures of my Dad, who passed away last year.

this is a new vintage apron, looks good with my dress , maybe I will keep it or maybe I should put it on Etsy.

Another big snow storm is coming. The good news is, I will have time to play with my wool roving that just came from Etsy. I want to make dogs but the book on how to make them hasn't arrived yet. I have been watching tutorials on youtube, so I think that I will be able to make something easy. This pic is to remind me that some day, I will be on the hot, sunny, beach in Port Elgin again.

More bad weather is on the way, so I guess that I will have lots of time for sewing. This is an embroidery that I just did ,I don't know what I will use it for , but it is pretty.

I made another dress, it's OK but don't love it.

Made one last dress (the black and white one) it looks great, fits great, and feels great. That it for me, but now I am going to make one for my daughter (a much smaller size).

Dress is done, it is such a easy pattern I think That I will make a few more.It is really snowing outside or I would be running to the store for more fabric and bias tape.Oh well, I think that I have plenty of time before summer gets here.

This is the dress I made, it turned out great. I am a much larger size that the girls on the pattern, but it still looks nice. I will have to make an apron to match, and add pearls. I will be a regular June Cleaver. This is a very easy pattern,

I am trying to set up a store at Etsy, so I have had no time to blog. I have also started sewing dresses (vintage pattern from 1950) for my spring wardrobe. So much to do so little time.

I made this giant cupcake, it takes a whole cake mix (i made it from scratch) . I think It looks pretty good for my first try. I bought the special cake pan to make it, so I will be giving Giant Cupcakes to friends or family for Birthdays or just need cheering up.

I love all thing vintage and hand made, and furry. I have 3 dogs, Abbie Rocky and Pei-Pei. they keep me busy

I am new to blogging, but love to talk and can go on forever , so this should be easy for me. After 30 years of hairstyling, I am now semi-retired and looking for things to keep me busy. I have always loved crafting and sewing and being creative, so it was natural that I spend my days filled with the peaceful enjoyment for making gifts for friends and family.
